An inspiring story about friends and artists struggling in New York City’s East Village, Rent tackles addiction, poverty, AIDS, and most of all, love. The Hamilton Theatre Department presented the musical Rent for eight sold-out performances from April 14-22 in the Romano Theatre in the Kennedy Center for Theatre and Studio Arts. The mainstage production, written by Jonathan Larson, was directed by Professor of Theatre Mark Cryer. ![]()
